The CivicPlus Alert Centre provides an efficient and noticeable way to get important news out to your community, whether it be local inconveniences like street closures and road conditions, or critical, up-to-the-minute emergencies like flood warnings and Amber Alerts. 

Used by many of the recent USA's disaster areas to distribute warnings to citizens, it has proven effective in real life situations.

Emergency Alert
Maui County, Hawaii used the CivicPlus Alert Centre to warn citizens of the impending Tsunami triggered by the Japanese earthquake in early 2011. Athens Clarke County sent information to citizens warning of potential injury and destruction caused by the disastrous tornadoes that plagued the mid west of America during 2011.

Recently Bankstown City Council used the Alert Centre to warn the community of a water contamination scare at one of their local parks. 

With the click of a button, graphics and information can be activated on your website from a variety of layouts that best fit the alert’s importance, with public notifications sent out through email, text message, and social networking avenues.

When a user clicks on an alert that is displayed on the site, they will be taken to the module information that details the alert, as well as photos, links to other resources, and a history of updates.
