Marie likes to joke that when it comes to summing her up a lot of people think she's slightly crazy!  Known for her outspoken and bombastic approach to life, Marie is passionate about bringing new and exciting solutions to Local Government. 

After co-founding the company in 2008 and launching PlanningXchange, Marie is responsible for the continual growth of ICON and bringing the products ICON creates and distributes to the attention of all the wonderful people in Local Government.

With over 15 years of experience in Local Government technology projects, Marie has been an instrumental figure in many of the industry reform programs that are now accepted as best practice. 

Known for his impeccable dress code, Con is the well organised brains behind the software that ICON creates. 

For seventeen years Con toiled away at a Sydney metropolitan Council trying to convince them of the need to publish development assessment information on the Internet...."the Inter what" they cried!

His passion paid off and 10 years later Con co-founded ICON to deliver his vision. Con knows Local Government inside and out having been in Engineering, Planning and an elected member.

Larger than life, Allan is the ruler, the calculator and the hand-break that keeps ICON a profitable organisation that delivers on time and to budget. 

Coming from the corporate end of town, Allan's big company experience gives ICON broad shoulders for steady growth, excellent cash flow management and a reputation of good governance.

As a co-founder and the Chief Operating Officer, Allan is responsible for contracts, payments and agreements.

A great company needs a good support team. At ICON we have just that. Our senior team of Lorne and Michelle are some of the familiar faces you will see when dealing with ICON.

Lorne Vacchiani - National Client Services Manager


Having worked together with Con and Marie for over 10 years, Lorne joined the ranks of ICON as the National Client Services Manager in August 2010 and is now the command centre of customer operations.

The voice at the end of the phone or the one investigating your systems to figure out what's going on, Lorne runs the technical aspects of ICON's customers like a well oiled machine.

Michelle Lacey – Project Manager and Training


Having spent 12 years working in the UK, Michelle Lacey has returned home to Northern NSW and an exciting role with ICON.

During her time overseas, Michelle was heavily involved with some of the UK’s largest e-Planning projects. Her expertise and experience is unrivalled here in Australia. Michelle’s role will be to guide our clients through the implementation of CivicPlus, PLAN, ASSESS and LODGE.
