The business process review works with the functional areas of your business to workshop, plan and document your e-Planning implementation strategy. Working with planners, planning administration, technical, front counter and management, the review focuses on the typical scenarios experienced when introducing new systems.

 

Identification of security concerns, privacy and legislation requirements, change management issues and integration of technology is all covered as part of the process. The results of the review will form part of your strategic approach to implementing effective e-Planning.

 

Needs Analysis for Management Reporting

ICON’s service delivery team uses a four-step process—Discovery, Design, Development, and Delivery — deliver on-time, on-budget results. Working together every step of the way, your project is organized and scheduled by expert managers and delivered by trained professionals.

Discovery. During the Discovery phase, we work with you to define your specific requirements. This involves understanding functional and business requirements, success factors of the project, use scenarios, and process flow. During this time, ICON Implementation Services works with you to define and improve business efficiency drawing from our ongoing experience and prior successes.

Design. The initial portion of the design phase involves working with you to develop a Statement of Work. A detailed project scope is defined to specify all components of your PlanningXchange solution. A Design Document is also developed to detail the structure of the PlanningXchange solution including the outputs, such as, reports and graphs that will be delivered with the project.

Development. During the development phase, the PlanningXchange solution (or modules of) is implemented according to the design. Frequent progress meetings are held with you to help monitor progress and insure the design objectives are being met.

Delivery. During delivery, the PlanningXchange solution is implemented at your site and your solution is deployed. ICON works with you to ensure the system is installed and working properly. At this time, use cases may be conducted. A checklist is supplied and evaluated to ensure that all your needs and requirements are met.

Data connectivity. ICON Implementation Services can also work with you to develop streamlined approaches for the initially migrate data to your PlanningXchange solution such as the PLAN module. We then work with you to integrate PlanningXchange to other corporate applications within your enterprise. Data migration and connectivity requirements are varied and the ICON Implementation consultants work with you to define a custom solution to meet your requirements.
